PNOC is excited to announce its partnership with WindStream Energy Technologies India PVT. LTD to bring the SolarMill technology to the Philippines. The signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) happened on April 19, 2024, marking the start of this collaboration.

Together, PNOC and WindStream will introduce SolarMill technology to small island communities in the Philippines. This aligns with PNOC’s goal of supporting the government’s efforts to bring electricity to more areas.

SolarMill, developed by WindStream, is a clean energy solution combining solar panels and wind turbines. Its compact design allows for installation even in remote areas.

WindStream’s Managing Director, Venkat Kumar Tangirala, is enthusiastic about using SolarMill to address energy needs in the Philippines. This partnership supports the National Power Corporation’s program to provide sustainable power to off-grid communities.

PNOC President Oliver B. Butalid emphasizes PNOC’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in energy. Through partnerships like this, PNOC aims to bring renewable energy to more Filipinos while protecting the environment.
